Take-home Backpack Program

Mrs. Hand has 16 different take-home backpacks, filled with wonderful literacy projects for students to work on at home with mom and dad or older brother or sister.  Each blue backpack may be borrowed for as long as it takes for the student to complete the projects.  Each backpack contains the following:

  • Two books (one in English and the same title in Spanish);
  • Two audiotapes (the same title as the books, one tape in English and one in Spanish);
  • Folder with activities (printed in English and Spanish);
  • Miscellaneous materials that go along with the activities and book (i.e. crayons, play money, stickers, etc.)

Please help us keep the backpacks in good condition.  DO NOT write in any of the original booklets, and please only use one of the copied sets of papers.
