Pencils, Paper, Crayons, and Rulers!

Sounds like schools back in......

As the nights begin to get cooler, I would like to say "hello" to all my new as well as my past students! My name is Mrs. Hoffa (Ms. Allsopp) and I would like to welcome my fifth graders to the upcoming 2016-2017 school year! I am so excited to get our year started!

This year our students will investigate pieces of literature from our new reading series called Journeys.

We are going to dive right into our Common Core math series called, Go Math, and enjoy spelling with weekly units.

I am very eager to share my classroom library with all of you. I am always adding new picture, fiction, and nonfiction books to my collection. One of my favorite books to read aloud is the wacky and crazy stories from the gang at Wayside School.

Thank you to all parents/guardians for your on going support!
