Dover High School

Guidance Counselor

Once again, it is a new year and the chance to start fresh.  The transition to middle school is always an ongoing challenge with a continuous increase in social pressures and class rigor each year.  Be sure to develop good work and study habits early on so you do not catch yourself falling behind in class.  Stay focused and have a great year!

My Role:

I will be working with the 6th - 8th grade classes to assist them in making a successful transition to the next grade or into their high school years.  Each year together, we will work to develop positive work and study habits, decision-making skills, time management and organizational strategies.  I will also work in groups and one-on-one with students who are having difficulty in their academics, peer relationships, making friends, etc. and will monitor your child's progress throughout each marking period.

The students I am assinged to and work with the most have a last name that starts with A - La.

My Office:

I am located in the guidance office, two doors down on the left in the first hallway on the left from the middle school main entrance.

My Contact Information:

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your son or daughter, please feel free to contact me during the school day from 7:15 to 2:00 at 877-5740 X 1127 or e-mail me at
