Welcome to the Dover Elementary School website, and thank you for taking the time to explore our various offerings.  I hope that you find the site helpful and informative.

I am excited to share this journey with you and with your child(ren).  I look forward to this challenge, to providing a safe and friendly environment where children are comfortable exploring and discovering things on their own with the guidance of some of the best professionals in the business.  I hope that the years your child spends here are healthy and happy ones.

I hope that in these formative years your child learns respect of others and their viewpoints.  I hope they open their minds to the world around them and that they leave here with ways to face this complex and sometimes confusing world.  Our faculty and staff provide a challenging curriculum, a warm and supportive learning environment, and many enriching experiences for all of our students.  Many unique and rewarding field trips in all grade levels enhance what students learn in the classroom.

 DES News

Your personalized brick will be installed along the Dover High School Entrance a greeting, in honor or in memory of a loved one or organization. To customize a brick with text and clip art, please order online at http://www.brickmarkersusa.com/donors/deep.html.
December 19th from 2 pm until the late bus at 4:45 pm in the middle school cafeteria. Walk-in at any time! Click news title on web above for more information.
The Junior and Senior Honor Society will have a Wizard of Oz themed food drive for the Center of Compassion starting this week and ending Dec. 19th. The first homeroom to get to the Emerald City with 100 cans will win a "munchkin" party!
As you may know, a member of our community, Christopher Vincent, has recently passed away, after being diagnosed with ALS 3 years ago. Aside from the emotional toll this has taken on his wife and 12 year old daughter, there is a financial burden as well.
Substitute training will take place on December 18, 2018 from 10-11 am in the MS/HS Library Conference room. There is no need to register in advance.
