Accelerated Reader
Your children have been given experiences reading books and taking tests in a program called Accelerated Reader (AR). Research shows that students who read independently every day have better vocabulary, improved comprehension, and do better in school. Dover Schools use Accelerated Reader to monitor the students' independent reading levels.

We now have access to all Accelerated Reader Quizzes! In addition, we now have access to Renaissance Place Home Connect, where you can monitor your student's progress with AR. All you need to log in is your student's AR username and password. Click on the link to the right for access. You can also use AR BookFinder within Home Connect to look up reading levels. | |
If you simply want to check the level of a book without logging in, click on the link to the right. From here you can find book titles within your child's reading range or you can find the reading level for a specific book. | |
