BOARD OF EDUCATION GOALS
Goal 1 – To organize and allocate resources based on intellectual decisions that identify and promote critical expectations, support, and structure in areas of need so schools are able to respond to their community and ensure that all students are successful.
Goal 2 - To develop sustainable systems that lead to success, wellbeing, and high academic outcomes for all students.
Goal 3 - To continue the development of rigorous and coherent curriculum and assessments that are aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS) and maximize teacher practices and student outcomes.
Goal 4 - To provide teachers with training and tools to engage in strategic practices and decision-making so all students experience consistent high levels of engagement, thinking, and achievement.
Goal 5 - To promote and support social and emotional development in our students that lead to healthy relationships and a safe, respectful environment conducive to learning for all.
Goal 6 - To foster partnerships with families, community members, and school staff so all stakeholders share in the responsibility for student success.
