Things that are important to succeed in Math Class

Please ask questions any time during class.  Everyone will need help at some point.  It is always easier to clear up your questions if you ask right away, and chances are others have the same question and will benefit from the discussion too. Your participation in math class is very important.  My hope is that you will all feel comfortable to ask questions, answer questions and work together with your peers.

Be confident in your ability to succeed.  We will accomplish so much this year as long as we work together as a team.  And always remember, as challenging as the course material may be, I will be here every step of the way to help you succeed.

Complete each assignment with care, as I will also take pride in my work.  If you aren't proud of your work, chances are, I won't be either.  I expect you to try every assignment.  I can give you credit for trying, but not if "I didn't do it, because I didn't understand."  TRY, TRY, TRY!!

I am available during most lunch periods. I would be more than happy to help you with math, organization, or anything you feel may assist you in becoming a more successful student. Just be sure to let me know ahead of time that you are coming so I can prepare myself to help you.

Grades are given on a point basis. Total points earned divided by Total points possible.

Quizzes will be given often and may sometimes be unannounced.

Tests will be given at the end of the unit and always announced.
