Hello Students and Families! Here are some reminders and updates from DHS:
We are pleased to have Nick Lane from the DCC Mechatronics Lab coming to DHS tomorrow, Monday, March 2nd to present to Juniors on the programs and opportunities available at the lab and how it can lead to careers in the tech field. Juniors will also hear about a new collaboration between DHS and DCC for Seniors next year who have room in their schedules to take classes at the Mechatronics Lab and earn credentials they can use for employment after high school or to get a jump start on college. More information to come! We are very excited about our collaborative partnership with the DCC Mechatronics Lab!
Students who are interested in taking AP classes or joining the Dover Legacy Racing Team (Winners' Circle) next year are reminded to complete the online application by March 20th. Late applications will not be accepted. Click HERE for the link to the application.
The Family Opportunity Center in Wingdale is hosting a Youth Community Program on human trafficking and exploitation. It is designed specifically for high school students. There are 5 sessions on Thursdays from March 12th to April 9th. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Click here for more information and the contact information for David Garcia to register.
